Womens Beret Pattern

Yikes!!!

Does anyone have a women's beret pattern that doesn't begin at the "top" and work down? I'm a fairly new knitter and I find it difficult and cumbersome using dpn's and doing M1's and being able to see which loop to pick up for the increases!!!!

Be easier to work from bottom up for me.
