The specs came from Vision Express - they are called Coco Rose from Chinese Culture. The colour is Black Rose (colour 2) they also come in a lime green. I loved the pink so I went with that

Both lots of sock yarn are by Regia. The rainbow ones I think they are:

2 x 50g 4 ply Supersoft Sock wool yarn

shade - 5047 - PARROT RINGEL COLOUR.

75% Pure new Wool, 25% Polyamide

I got the yarn from Ebay. The first pair of socks I completed were made with Lorna's Laces in Desert Flower colour. I love working with the Regia. The first pair of socks I still have not completed, were put together with Regia mini ringel in a lovely blues / blacks shades.

I've not yet worked with Opal but I'm planning on that soon. I also have some Lana Grossa to use (see the yarn porn

) I also have two balls of light blues in Regia silk. They will have to be toe up as they aren't full balls and I got them from ebay so theres not telling how much is actually in them. I've never done toe up socks so this will be a total experiment!

Glad you all like the socks and the glasses =D - still have to post the scarf pic and the pic of the socks I'm working on at the moment.

I also took delivery of a Go Knit pouch - man that thing is suhhhhhweeeet!

Annnd Debbie! DO IT! Honestly learning socks on two circs has been a revelation for me. I was a bit grumpy about DPNS because it was slow and clunky and I had ladders. Then I learned the two circs method and it has revolutionised my knitting. I actually feel like I can take on a project, start it and know that it will be finished. I don't feel grumpy because I can't knit due to many things ongoing in the life at the moment.

I highly recommend socks. I have a sleeved poncho I want to knit - I started it (cast on did 5 rows) but I can't get the time to sit down quietly and concentrate on it (it needs some "me" time to do it till I memorise the repeats). But with socks, wow its so easy.

The go knit pouch is fantastic too - I can clip it to my wrist and wander about knitting wherever I go. It is easy to shove the knitting back into the pouch when I need to and easy to whip it out when I like too.

So yeah DOOOO IT! Get knitting socks on circs =D
