Adding beads after the fact
Dear Ones,

'm making clutches from Oneskein for Christmas presents this year and I just finished knitting one up and it needs a little more sparkle so I'm thinking of adding beads.

I know how to add them during the knitting process -- I learned the crochet hook way and that's what I like best -- but my sewing skills are pathetic at best. Any advice on how to sew the little buggers on?

I figure that if I sew them on before I felt they will be more stable.

Advice or links, anyone?

Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it.

hmm... you'll be felting it? Can you just sew them on with yarn, tie it on the inside and then clip the yarn psuedo short and then felt it.
