WIP - argyle socks...sorta

Here is the first of a pair of socks I'm working on. Not sure if it can be officially called argyle, but it's close enough for me. The yarn is KnitPicks pallete, which I'm liking a lot.

Hi,
I think they look nice so far, especially with them being your first. They appear to be in the same vein of argyle patterning to me (just the two color kind).
Are you using knitpicks' circular needles, how are they working out for you?

Ok...so I just tried this on and....I can't get it past my heel :( Not sure what I can do. The stranding from the color work is preventing the leg of the sock from stretching enough to get past my heel. I'm really bummed. I don't want to have to rip all of this out, but I can't really see what else to do....
