Finished socks
Here are my last 2 FOs...

Started the red/multi ones ages ago, on 2 circs (size 2), but ended up taking them off onto dpns out of sheer frustration. The yarn (Dancing by KP) is stretchy and kept catching on the addi naturals... I was unhappy with both.

The beige/cream/blue ones are from Regia yarn, made on size 1 addi natural dpns. I enjoyed these needles. This yarn is meant to be very sturdy, but was not as fun to knit as a softer yarn would be.

They both look great, but I really like the Regia ones.

If you made these socks from the toe up, please tell what method of binding off you used. Each method I use doesn't seem to stretch enough without being too tight.

BTW, your socks look great. Can you post directions for the socks or a link to the pattern if it was a free one?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

pattern
Lighting,
Both of the pairs of socks were made top-down.I have not tried toe-up yet but when i do I'll use the *Sensational Socks* book by Charlene Schurch since I trust her methods.

For the socks in *dancing* I used Nenah Galati's DVD on knitting 2 socks on 2 circs, until I couldn't stand it anymore and transferred them to dpns. For the Regia socks I used the Thuja pattern from Knitty.com adapted to sockweight yarn by following the Silver Sock Tutorial - just google it and it will give you the link.

Hope that helps! Merry Christmas!
