HELP Can i bind off at the end of a row?
Hi I'm making a sweater. The pattern tells me:

"For the armholes cast off, at both sides, 2 sts three times and decrease 1 st, twice, in every 2nd row."

These instructions are confusing to me for a number of reasons. I am assuming i need to bind off 2 stiches at each end, on three different rows? Do i do I do the decreases on the same rows? And finally, how do I bind off at both ends of a row!?

If anyone could help me with this i would be much obliged.

Thanks!

You're right that you can't bind off at the end of the row. Bind off those stitches when you're starting the row on that edge. You won't be binding off on the same row each side, but it doesn't matter. All bind-offs on sweaters are made this way.

By doing the bind offs this way, it automatically puts you in the position of binding off every second row on each side.
