Which bind off stitch??
Happy New Year,

Quick question for newbie. I'm just about to complete the back of the sweater I'm knitting. Very first piece I've ever done and I'm so thrilled. (Couldn't have gotten this far w/o all your help so thanks)

The last step here is to bind off. No mention of which bind off to use. My pattern has been to Knit one row, Purl the next. The final row was a Knit row. Does this mean I do a Purl bind off? Does it matter?

The bind off will be attached, at some distant point, to a turtle neck portion.

Thanks again for any help,
Lee Lee

It shouldn't matter if you use a purl or knit bind off since there will be a seam over it. I would go with a knit bind off - it is easier!
