K1P1 still don't get it
I am still not getting the k1p1, k2p2. I have practiced and it is still not coming out. Any suggestions out there? Yes I am wrapping the yarn around back for the knit stitche and bringing it around front for the purl stitch, but it's not coming out and looks like crap. HELP!!!

Make sure you're bringing the yarn to the front for the purl between the needles and back between the needles to knit.

If you have an even number of stitches, k1, p1 on both sides. If it's an uneven number, p1, k1 on one side and k1p1 on the other.

i remember when I took my first knitting class... ribbing was the hardest thing to get used to! always remember that with k1p1, you knit the stitch with the yarn in the back, then bring the yarn between the needles to the front of your work. then, purl a stitch. after that, bring the yarn between the needles to the back of the knitting. does that help? good luck and dont give up!

If you can post a pic of your work we may be able to see what you're doing wrong.
