Any sewers out there (not OT)
I just learned how to do short rows, courtesy of Amy's video--yay!!!!

But I'm wondering...what can you equate what short row shaping does in knitting to in the sewing world (I think equating it with a sewing term might help me to understand a bit about how short row shaping works)? Is it like a dart?
I'm "the mean twin".

I'm on flickr, too!
I love to knit shawls...after all, a girl can't have too many shawls!

I would say it is a dart.
