Hi Knitters.

I am very new to knitting, and am looking forward to learning much from all of you. My mom told me I need to introduce myself, so here goes: my name is Ginna, I live in Virginia, I have two beautiful and brilliant girls: 7 years old and 2 years old. I have knitted 3 dishcloths so far, and am now making a rectangle with the left-over yarn. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to the leftovers!!! I see in my knitting future a beautiful grey or maybe burgundy or maybe plum colored ruana (it's a long sweater/poncho), but for now I'll stick to just knitting row upon row of blue cotton. It's pretty intimidating, but I'm getting the hang of it. Thanks in advance for the help I'm sure I will need and y'all will share. Happy Knitting!!

Welcome to the forum! Is your mom a member, too?

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Welcome. It sounds like you're off to a good start, and this is a great place to learn.

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

Welcome, Clueless.
This place has been invaluable to me as I've only been knitting for about a year.

Are you alive? Good. You can still do something
