Border stitch
What's a border stich? Can anyone describe to me how to do it? I found this pattern on the internet but I'm having some trouble with the pattern.

It says Row 3 : K 3 ( border st) K 2, * P 2, K 2 * repeating between *'s across, ending with K 3 border st.

Thanks in advance

What are you knitting? Do you have a link?

I think all it means is that the k3 will be the border on whatever you are making. If you look at the pattern instructions I bet each row startsand ends with a k3.

Send a message via Yahoo to brendajos
basically it is telling you that those K3 stitches are your border and not techinally part of the "pattern." (hope that made sense...lol)

Thanks for the response.

The pattern has a row that looks like:
Row 3 : K 3 ( border st) K 2, * P 2, K 2 * repeating between *'s across, ending with K 3 border st.

So, would I just K3 and then K2...
