Can you stretch an acrylic cap?

I made a cap out of 100% for a coworker since he said wool bothers him
Well it is much smaller than i expected.. I have already washed/dried it once hoping it would relax a little... No luck
could I block it if it's acrylic????Could I get it wet and strethc it over a bowl or something to make it larger?

100% acrylic won't block. You can stretch it out but it will not hold.

Yeah, sorry...I think they only thing to do is frog it and CO more stitches to begin with. Or give that one to someone smaller and start over.
