Help with Increasing
I'm a new knitter and I'm using a pattern to make a hat and the pattern says:

Inc 1 st (i.e., K1, then K1 into the back loop of the same st)

I don't understand what it means by knitting into the back loop of the same stitch... does it mean the stitch I just knitted or what?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

That's also known as kfb or knit front and back. See how it's done on the Increase or Glossary page.

Thank you so much! Now I can finish, Yay! I looked there earlier but I didn't know the name of it so I decided to ask.
