I thought I would put where we live after the end of our names (for easier reference for this brain of mine)
Eventually I would like to get a knitting gathering together with all of you Minnesota knitters posting here. Any interest? I would be considering next year 2008. . . (which is already almost here)!
Puppyluv (Twin Cities)

Binkykat - happy to hear you were in the "hood." (Fargo, ND)

EBRPerk (near Worthington)

nplank - South Texas (summer place Baudette)

Traceleighj - I do not knit too much in spring and winter and, in fact, has been awhile since Iíve checked in on this site (and this thread). I have just begun knitting frenzy again!!! (Champlin)

Kashadilla (St. Cloud)

Pam_MN (Minnesota)

Momwolf - love your avatar.. . reminds me - I need to find an avatar for myself.! (Central Lakes)

Friskums - We live very close to each other. (Carver)

Hygiene Mama (Just outside Duluth)

Rennagayle - too funny - yep especially needing that "knitware" right about now!!! (plans to visit family in Minnesota)

Stirsmommy (Duluth)

Kaidyddd (Plymouth/Maple Grove area)

LisaKay - thanks for those links!

Buddhistcats - I would imagine once you learn one way - it difficult to "re-learn." Good luck with your continuing efforts (Eden Prairie)

Mayday - Yes, I was surprised to see this thread still here - happily surprised!!!
(Lake Minnetonka)

Wingem - you are busy . . . . now that the cold weather is here I too canít wait to get home to knit. Is there such a thing as too much knitting and yarn? Especially when the DollarTree has Boucle normally selling for $6 for sale for $1. !!!!!!! It is wonderful that a $24 scarf can be created for $3 and have given about 25 scarves to girlfriends and am now planning to make and donate scarves to Sharing and Caring Hands. I also had a yarn donation provided to me which helps! (West St. Paul)

Clsimmons (visitor to Lakeville/Farmington area)

Loongodess (Duluth)

Rennagayle Northeast Texax (visitor to MN)

Sure hope I didnít miss anyone or err regarding where you live. . . Let
me know if I did.

Wanda be Knitting (Prior Lake)

Mulderknitter - WELCOME! (Minneapolis)
Traceleighj - Cool - thatís TWO interested!!!! (Champlin)

Mayday
I am over in North Mpls, right by north memorial hospital. I work for Fairview.
My favorite LYS is Crafty Planet, but I have to admit I haven't been to a whole lot of them. Bella Lana just opened in northeast, and they have a lot of luxury yarns that are really nice too.

I used to work right across from Loring park and the Walker art center. I'll have to check out the new store in the NE. I used to live right by prospect park in SE so I would go to Depth of Field, but now living in the western suburbs, I just haven't founf a store closer to me that I really like yet.

I'm from Anoka. Are there any groups around the cities that get together and knit? I was just in Fargo this weekend and MIL noticed that the Michales there has a thing where you can pay 5 dollars and sit and knit in there store for an hour once a week. Do any of them in the metro have that? Has anyone ever gone? I am having some real trouble with this pattern and might need some hands on help.
