Yesterday morning, I couldn't even see my driveway. It was covered in a bit of snow which was more like ice. Time to stock up on some ice melt. Note to self- next house you buy, make sure it isn't north facing! Last year I fell when getting the paper b/c of all of the ice left on the driveway. Now I make DH run out in the cold to get it!

Ouch! I am so sorry you fell. I fall all the time, no ice needed, just me and some stairs and down I go. Aren't boys nice to do the things we don't want? Our drive way faces east..not as bad as north. Good luck to you with the ice melt.

I forgot to introduce myself! Im a mom to a little boy whos 2 almost 3 and I knit hats and diaper covers and longies for him I dye my own yarn as well any dyers out there?

I really enjoyed reading all these MN posts. I spent a lot of time there last year and have been back and forth the past few years visiting. Minnesota Nice is not a myth. Met so many nice helpful people there. Including some very nice knitters. One of them is a woman Amber, who operates the Knitting Knight in Hibbing with her brother and sister. It is one of the best yarn shops I have been to with an incredible variety and good prices. Not to mention the helpful customer service. Amber actually helped me fix a mistake on a sweater from yarn I didn't buy there. Whenever I went in the shop the ladies in her knitting group were very friendly and invited me to join them. Seems like I was always on my way somewhere else and never did but I appreciated their attitude. I definitely recommend the shop to anyone.
I did some dyeing years ago, mainly plant dyes, when I had some sheep.
