Hey now! I knit and crochet! But I do think we shall all send emails or something to the Today Show, tell her we were knitting while watching her show, and that all the people who were sewing were NOT watching her show, but were staring down at their machines!!!

Well, it's a good thing I was never one to follow the crowd.
Hooray for knitting!

We talked about that tonight at our SnB! How stupid. But we were all glad it's out because maybe it will mean less fun fur on the shelves and more room in the LYS for people who don't treat it like a passing phase!

Here's an idea for Meredith, and other's who think they have to follow the fads. Why don't you try thinking for yourself. It's much more enjoyable than worrying what may or may not be "in"

The Today Show is sooo five minutes ago. People are still watching it?

I'm a little old fashioned anyway. My shoes still have laces instead of velcro. I don't care if knitting is out of fashion, I enjoy it. Meredeth can have her sewing. I can buy a lot of yarn for what a sewing machine costs.

How did I miss that???

It seems to me there are more knitters than there use to be, especially teenage knitters.
