You guys know me, I'm too lazy to read what everyone already wrote, so forgive me if I repeat....

You can't take a sewing machine on the subway with you. You can't work with tiny stitching needles on the bus. They are completely different crafts. I love that people just assume you can't do both? WHATEVER.

Anyway, I don't see sewing taking off like knitting has. You need too much skill and equipment. Plus, if you think patterns for knitting are hard, OY!
