I like that name!
The handles are bamboo and have holes in the ends - the packet said I should have bought metal loops to fix them onto the bag - but I didn't read that bit until I got home so I just stitched them onto the bag using yarn - I think I prefer it that way - metal loops would have pulled the bag out of shape.
Next time I think I'd knit it in the round - I was actually just swatching to see how the cables went together but then I decided that the swatch was the right size for one side so just carried on knitting!
I fancy doing a circular style dolly bag now - and luckily I have loads of WOTA - so maybe I'll try cabling in the round! When I'm feeling brave and able to concentrate for a while that is!
And next time I'm definately going to write what I do as I go
