OT I can stand it no longer.... (a bit long)
I had to pop in and say hey and I continue to miss ya'll terribly
I was pm'ing five_six about a shipment of yarn and saw the thread about hubbies a couple of days ago and, of course, had to comment a bit about Lonnie. Well, I shouldn't have done that because I have thought more and more about ya'll so I had to just come in here to say hello

FYI, I've not been on bedrest continually since the beginning of November (seeing as how that's when I was put on bedrest this time), I was getting better and my doc thought that all was well for us to vacation right after Christmas as planned .... it was great ! And I knew I would have to recupe about a week after the vacation, but I had a couple of really bad setbacks and am on very, very strict bedrest and the docs have contemplated putting me in the hospital a couple of times for pain control but the hospitals were full and then my doc was going out of town. It's still possible, but I hope not. As things stand at the moment my pain is being controlled a bit better now and then.

So much for my health update. Now, I wish I could sit here and see what all ya'll have been doing, but I can't, but I do have some Knitty Porn for you. LOL, as I mentioned in the post about hubbies, it took me quite a long time to create the post on my blog...a couple of weeks, actually.... I would edit a picture or 2 a day, then after editing was done I woul post a bit on my blog day by day and save it as a draft all to share my marvelous Knitty goodies from my dear friend Amy (horve1) and Lonnie...he did his usual spoiling and continues to do so regularly. So, if you want to see some nice porn...knitty porn, that is, stop by my blog and have a look.

And, oh my...nevermind, I'll have to create another post to show you a couple of other surprises from him.....yes, I am a tease at times

But I will tell you this. I was eyeing Littleknits (they know I'm a sucka when I get my email from them!) and I mentioned a bag sale on some Debbie Bliss Alplaca Silk and my Baby told me this morning, "Honey, why don't you just order that yarn since it's on sale." So, it's on the way here (Almost Granny Smith colorway). LOL, I had been chatting with Amy about how much I liked it, but felt a tad guilty about ordering yarn after having such a yarny Christmas...but, leave it to my Hubby (The Best One in the World) to encourage me to go ahead and get it. It's as I told Amy...there's something about receiving yarn and being in intense's magical....the yarn does lessen the pain, as does receiving wonderful surprises from friends, check out this VERY COOL Vintage Bakelite Knitting Needle Gauge that my dear friend Amy (horve1) sent me a couple of days ago! Thanks, Amy

Again, I miss ya'll so very, very much!
Not a whole lot going on in the knitting scene around here I've really been in too much pain to knit very much (and knitting usually helps keep my mind off of the pain) and, truthfully, not in the best of knitty moods a lot of the time. But, I did pick up a pair of socks I began designing before Christmas and they should be done in a day or 2, but I'm afraid it will be a while before I have the pattern posted. And, as promised, "A Touch of Whimsy socks" pattern is written, I just have to knit them and I have a few other patterns in the making....sketching and experimenting I have been doing a bit.

Sorry for the extremely long post, but, Hey, it's been a while and I really, really love and miss ya'll....a LOT!!
I'm headed back to bed and hope to be around again in the near future.
