Will blocking help my uneven stockinette?
I am about halfway done with my first sweater vest thingy, and my stitches are not that uneven, but some of them are bumpy, you can see enough unevenness that it is kind of unattractive. I know blocking is supposed to help this, but how much? My yarn is 70% baby alpaca and 30%silk, btw. Also, should I steam block it or wet block it? I"m thinking steam block but I'll take any suggestions I can get. Thanks!

I would personally steam block it but that's just my preference. I think it'll help a little bit--it won't fix it completely but it should look better once it's dry.
