It is bigger than I thought! 16" L x 10" H x 8" W
The inside is divided in two by a zipper pocket. Each side also has pockets of different sizes for sticking stuff in. I think I could fit a sweater and maybe socks in there at the same time in addition to my wallet, cell phone etc. But I have 2 kids so I needed a big bag that could carry around all of our stuff plus knitting. Its already very heavy!
