I just remebered that I also have this one and it comes in handy too.. you can fit a lot of yarn in it.. has your side pockets for water, celle phone, and head sets... the front pocket holds tons of needles and is how I store and keep my DPNs... the pocket on the flap is very roomy and where I keep my gauge thing.. and the way it closes you can fit your keys on it and keep up with them... I use this for classes too... just depends on what you are looking for.. I don't think its an everyday bag or not for me cause it is a bit bigger than I like.. but its not as bulky as the orange one...

I had a picture in my mind for a long time of what my bag looked like, just a simple straw bag that would stand up on its own. And after looking all over I found it at Target a while ago on sale for maybe $12. I currently have in it 5 skeins of yarn, 6 or 7 sets of needles, 2 current projects, The Knitting Answer Book, eyeglass case and a few other little things. I love this bag, it holds everything I want and if I take it somewhere I just throw in my wallet and keys and I am off.
I do love that standing up straight feature and looking like a regular bag is a plus. Ooooh,! I have a small beach bag that would be perfect for that! AND it's lined, so your yarn won't snag. However, if you use my tip that's not an issue

I am pretty new here, but here is the one that I use. The woman who taught me how to knit made it for me. It has these nice big pockets on the outside to hold a pattern book or copies, and the inside has quite a few pockets for notions and needles, and then very roomy, I usually carry at least 2 projects in it. There is a red Top Down for Toddlers sweater in there, and I started a Clapotis the other day, so that is in there too:

We could learn a lot from crayons:some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....
but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
