Ultramerino 6
I have 4 skeins of Ultramerino 6 from Artyarns, 2 skeins each of 2 different colorways. Is this suitable for socks? I'm concerned since it has no nylon. Also, the Artyarn site doesn't say what its weight is, but since the suggested gauge is 5 1/2 stitches per inch on size 6 needles, it seems like light worsted. Trouble is, I can't find any patterns that call for light worsted. Does it have another name? Anybody know of a pattern?

That sounds more like DK to me, which you can use for socks!

I'm using Supermerino for socks right now, and that's 100% wool and worsted. Some of it has to do with what needle size you use and how thick you want your socks and how tight or loose you knit.

Am famoos!
