Hats for Twins

A friend of mine just told me that she's having twins at the end of November. She doesn't know the sexes yet, but she did show me a tiny picture of twin babies wearing cute hats and asked me if I could make these for her. Of course, I said I would, but she didn't have a pattern, just this tiny picture. I'm wondering if anyone might be able to help me in my search.

There was one pink hat and one green hat. They each had a long tail on top which were tied together into a bow when the kids sat next to each other. That's all I have to go on. She doesn't even remember what magazine it came from.

I'm going to keep searching, but thought I'd ask in case anyone has an idea of where I could look.

Here are two very easy baby hat patterns, one knit and one crochet, that you could make. Then just do either a knitted I-cord or a crocheted chain for the top part.

We're they just plain stockinette hats? You don't need to worry about a specific pattern for that.

I don't like seamed hats so here's a few hats in the round that are simple basic hats. When you got to the top you could make a long i-cord tail to tie if you really want that...although it seems like something you'd only want for that one picture.

I agree that she'd only tie it for the one picture, but if that's what the lady wants, the lady shall have it. Anyone who carries multiples is deserving in my book! Thanks for the patterns.

I'm sure if the hats are too big, the babies will grow into it. Just to let you know, twins tend to be born 4-7 weeks early. Mine were 5 weeks early and weighed 4 1/2 to 5 pounds.
