knit stitches as they appear...?

Hi guys,

I have a pattern that says to knit stitches as they appear on all reverse side rows. What would i do with a YO then? Am i just confused?

I assume that it is the wrong side rows that you are told to 'knit the stitches as they appear'? In that case, I always treat a YO from the previous row as a knit stitch, so on the reverse side I would purl the YO's.
