Carrying yarn?
How do you carry yarn? I am doing Magic Loop for the end of a cap. 2 rows of stockinette in one color (12 stitches), then switch to the second color for 2 rows, then back to the first color for 2 rows, repeat for 5 1/2 inches. Can I "carry" the yarn so I don't have to keep joining and cutting?

Someday I'll be able to answer other peoples questions in this forum

Absolutely carry the yarn. For 2 rows I don't even think I'd personally do anything special. You can, however, make sure your hanging yarn is lying on top of the strand you're using so that when you move up a row the extra color is lifted up if that makes any sense.
