Yet Another Blocking Question!
Hi Everyone, I posted a question regarding blocking my 2x2 ribbed scarf and received some wonderful responses, thanks everyone. Now my next question...I know you can only block natural yarn, well, what if it's partly natural? The yarn I am using is Crystal Palace Yarn Sequoia and it is 50% wool, 30% Acrylic and 20% Alpaca. Will that 30% Arcylic make it unblockable?

The more acrylic, the less it will block. This will probably block less well than a pure animal-fibre item, but I think it will block to some reasonable extent. Please block it and let us know how much of a difference you made! Blocking will certainly not damage the acrylic (as long as you don't iron or use steam).
