OT - Bad, bad week
Hi all. This is so completely off topic that it's ridiculous, but here goes. I've had a bad week. Super bad. Lots of things have happened, like my grandmother going BACK into the hospital after her recent surgery to remove a (thankfully) non-cancerous tumor. On V-day my car got hit by a salt truck owned by my apartment complex, and the complex manager is being a total meany about it. Those are the big ones. Anyway, Friday night, I had a total melt down and called DBF hysterical. He calmed me down, got my sisters to my house to take care of me, and then broke up with me on Sunday.

Guys, I need a little love right now. Normally knitting makes me feel better, but even that isn't cutting it.

Sorry for being so random and whiny. :crying:

OTN - too many things at once (if that's possible).
FOs- knitty's "back to school" for the sister, and lots of single socks (I'm a repeat victim of SSS).

I'm sending you cyber hugs and I know that there will be some wonderful blessings that more than make up for your frustration.

For every diaper, spill or uninvited wall-drawing, I breath and remember the emptiness before my angel was born.

There is no right way to knit; there is no wrong way to knit. So if anybody kindly tells you that what you are doing is "wrong," don't take umbrage; they mean well. Smile submissively, and listen, keeping your disagreement on an entirely mental level. They may be right, in this particular case, and even if not, they may drop off pieces of information which will come in very handy if you file them away carefully in your brain for future reference. ~Elizabeth Zimmerman
