Toddler Poncho
I am a new knitter. I absolutely LOVED the toddler poncho and made it for my littlest granddaughter. My oldest granddaughter wants me to make her one just like it. She wears a size 10 in girls' sizes. Is there a pattern for this or would you suggest cutting out a paper pattern and going with that?

Can you "guage" the little pattern to enlarge it? I have to do this all the time b/c of my height and small head (standard adult hats are too big) so I just figure out my guage then add or subtract enough stitiches to make it the size I wanted.

Another option is to look at knittingpatterncentral.com or Berocco yarn has some nice poncho patterns (not sure if they are free)

Best of luck
