OT: How do I put a ticker on my signature?

I've been trying to figure that out for a little while now...I've created one, just not sure how to get it to work.

When you create the ticker, you're given the source code to plug into a website/blog/etc. I found that the ones for HTML didn't work in my signature, but the one's with BB did.

Just copy, then paste it into your signature editor in your profile.

...did I make any sense?
