Looks like?...
I have been running into a stich pattern for a long time now...

it looks like knitted cables that have ben weaved together... now that I want to try it I can't find it...

can anyone find me a link posibly?

There's a cable weave stitch at www.knittingwisdom.com or there are braid cables that might be what you're talking about.

Could be braided cables or entrelac (sometimes spelled interlac). Do a search for the entrelac threads and you'll find examples, tutorials and patterns.
