Ok, I'm hoping this is ok to do as I'm not copying the entire pattern.
Moderator, let me know if this is a complete no-no. I just know how it is to misplace a pattern
Work as for back until 20 stripes have been completed - 56(60, 66, 70)sts. Work last inc. and shape neck as follows:
Next row (RS)
K3, M1, k19921, 24, 26) sts, place center 12 sts on holder for front neck, join another ball of yarn, k to last 3 sts, M1 k3 -- 23 (25, 28, 30) sts each side. Working both sides at once, work next 5 rows even. Dec 1 st from each neck edge on next row, then every 6th row 4 (5, 5, 5) times more. AT THE SAME TIME, shape armholes as for back. Work even on 12(13, 15, 17) sts each side until armhole measures same as back to shoulder, end with a WS row. Bind off each side.
With A, cast on 48 (52, 54, 58) sts. Work in garter st for 6 rows.Cont. in stripe pattern as follows:
Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows.
Dec row (RS)
K3, ssk, k to last 5 sts, k2tog, k3. Rep dec row every other row 10 (11, 12, 13) times more, end with a WS row -- 20 (22, 22, 24) sts. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, then 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Bind of rem 10 (12, 12, 14) sts.
Block pieces lightly to measurements. Sew shoulder seams.
With RS facing, circular needle and A, pick up and k 30 (32, 34, 36) sts along left front neck edge, 12 sts from front neck holder, 1 st along right back neck edge, 22 (24, 24, 24) sts from back neck holder, then 1 st along left back neck edge -- 96 (102, 106, 110)sts. Join and pm for beg of rnds. Work around in St st for 6 1/2". Bind off all sts loosely. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
