Need a quick summer baby gift
I don't have much experience with what babies wear when, need to knit a small girl baby gift by Mid-March for a June baby. Was thinking a little brimmed hat with tank top dress, but cannot find any patterns

Also, cannot get to my not so local LYS until the weekend before the baby shower.......

Here is another suggestion for the dress if the one from knitty is a little tough: http://www.magknits.com/Jan06/patterns/blossom.htm

And I think the hat Susan suggested is absolutely awesome!

Good luck
Rebecca

I second Anouk from Knitty! I made it a few months ago, and it really wasn't hard. (The pockets were the trickiest bit, but I was doing them at 1:00 AM the day of the baby shower, so that's probably why...)
