Help!! Sleeves too Long!!

Hi all,

I am putting together a sweater for my DH. All the compenents are done and I've attached the front and back at the shoulder seams and set in one sleeves completely. I put it over his head and found the sleeve is way too long. The edge at his hand is the cast on edge. Can I unravel that and just bind it off at the right length? Has anyone done this before? The edge is a k5 p1 rib so it's not that intricate of a pattern. It's the Manly Sweater from the Stitch n' Bitch book.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
