My So Called Scarf Question
I want to try this pattern which is an altered version of the My So Called Scarf pattern:

•Row 1: K1, *sl 1, K1, yo, pass slipped stitch over both the K1 and yo* repeat until there is one stitch left, K1

My question is, do you return the working yarn to the back before you slip the next stitch?

Thanks!

When you do the yo, just bring the yarn to the front and over the top of the needle, then pass the slipped stitch over the knit and yo.

You keep the working yarn in the back. Think of the YO as working a knit stitch without the right needle being inserted into a stitch on the left needle.
