WIP's, Baby blanket and Irish Hiking scarf

The pattern for this blanket is thanks to melissa.atkins. A while ago she posted a picture of the blanket she was making, and I really liked it. She gave me the pattern, and I am in the process of making one. I'm about 37 rows short of being done, and I have to say I love it. The pictures aren't that good, and that's my bad. I'll try to post more when it's done.

It's Bernat Softee, double stranded on 10.5 addis.





Here is my Irish Hiking scarf. Again the picture isn't the best, (I'm just learning my digital camera that I got four days ago, wooo hooo!!)

Thanks. I just realized I forgot to say I was knitting the scarf in Paton's SWS. It's really coming out nicely. It's for a charity event that will be raising money for a prison ministry called Kairos.

BTW Jan, I love your quote. And if you ever need cat hair to finish a project....I've got some for ya.

I'm glad you posted what yarn- I bought a pile of the SWS in natural plum b/c is it so pretty, then couldn't figure out what to do with it!! I love the hiking scarf idea. And that is one luck baby getting that blankie!! Marykz
