What stitch for a smooth flat look
I have purchased the most beautiful shank of silk yarn that I would like to knit into a narrow scarf as an accessory for a suit. Is there a stitch, other than stockinette, that will give a nice flat, smooth look to the scarf?

I'm not sure, but you might check some stitch libraries.
