gauge of yarn?
I found a great price on some bamboo yarn, but I'm bit confused as to what the gauge is. The description says 5 sts. & 8 row = 1 inch US 6. Is that DK? Thanks!

I think so. It would be about 20sts/32rows over 4", so definitely a bit lighter than worsted weight.

I've found that the needle size on the gauge is generally a clue to the weight too. 6s = DK, 8s = worsted, 10s= bulky/chunky, etc.

Thanks everyone! I've commonly used 4's on DK so I was a little bit confused.
