addi users (and options users)--I need your input!!
I use addis for everything--its the only needles I have aside of my bamboo straights from when I was first learning to knit. That being said--I am working on a project that calls for a 29" circular (it's a bag in the round) and addis don't come in 29" (edited to add that I just noticed that options don't either....). What do you do in this situation??? I simple cannot think of using another needle--I bought a lantern moon ebony needle at the LYS b/c it came in 26" which is closer to what I need and while it is a good needle--I'm aggravated w/ the joins. Addis will just spoil you to death I guess...
Anyway--what do you guys do in this type of situation? I have a 24" but it's just enough stitches to make using a 24" cumbersome...
the problem is that my gauge is not spot on and the bag is currently turning out a little smaller than the pattern intends....since I know you can't use a circular that is larger in diameter (unless you are doing something ML) than the object you are knitting, I'm scared to get started w/ a 32" only to find that it won't work...
I recommend Inox Express needles. They are very similar to Addis but do come in 29" lengths. Make sure you get the Express needles. Inox makes another line of needles that have a gray enamel finish. The Express are metal like Addis.
