Elongating a bottom-up hat cuff after the hat is finished
I made a nice hat, and I love it, except I really wish I'd made the cuff long enough to fold over. It's an inch long. Is it possible to pick up stitches along the cast-on edge of the cuff, make it longer, and still have it look good?

Sure you can. You can pick up stitches along the edge, and since you're going to fold it up over where you picked them up, nobody will be the wiser.

Wow, thanks for replying so quickly! I was thinking it might show, since I fold it over a little now, since the hat seemed to be a too long with the cuff down. I think I'll try it anyway. I hope it doesn't show.
