Bonets for everyone!!!
I have made a pattern you all might like... It has worked well for all 3 of my boys.

it's realy simple

I use a #5 set of neddles
and red heart yarn (we live in a cold clinment)

co 70
40 rows (you can put any type of knit purl pattern in these 40 rows)
k19,k2tog,k28,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k26,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k24,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k22,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k20,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k18,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k16,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k14,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k12,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k10,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k8,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k6,k2tog,k19
k19,k2tog,k4,k2tog,k19

now you devide half the stiches onto a second neddle.
darn them together (like the way you do the botom of a bag or toe of a sock)

you can add size by adding a row for every 2 stiches...

hope I've helped  ,
Elysha
