I'm starting a sweater (my 1st) in the round and I want to do cables but I've never done them before in the round. Now I hate to assume anything, but I'm guessing that I only do the RS rows. Am I right?
No. You still need to do the second row, and you'll still knit the knits and purl the purls. They'll just be opposite of what they would have been on the back.
You don't have to convert the pattern or anything, just knit the knits and purl the purls every other row and you're good to go.
