I am so proud of myself
I did it..I knit my first sock all by myself (wish I had a digital camera so I could show everyone) anyway I made a pair of socks years ago when I had a neighbour that walked me through every step of the way.
whenI moved away, I tried many times and would mess it all up, so gave up on it, but now with the the help of silver's tutorial I made a sock all by myself with fingering yarn and size 1 needles and it looks wonderful...I think I will be hooked now.
don't like to brag but my goodness I am just so proud of myself
thanks for all the help on here all made it possible
live in canada, have to knit a lot

great job! Knitting socks is hard at first, so props to you
Are you alive? Good. You can still do something

FO's: Just finished both of my pink socks. Nothing fancy, but alright.
WIP: Nothing. It's so depressing
Up Next: Purse for my friend (still need to get yarn)

Yay! Be proud! Proud is a good thing, for it is mostly what keeps you knitting

So you are addicted to socks, too eh?

How wonderful for you!! Persistence does pay off, doesn't it?!

Time to find a disposable camera to document the big moment, though! It's either that or frame the thing!

Way to go!
