That's 16 knitters. We have room for 9 more!

I cast on 300 stitches for the blanket yesterday, and lestrella and I knit several rows. I almost have it ready for lissalue.

I'm using a very boring vintage gray wool yarn I had in my stash. It's very old Coats & Clark Red Heart Knitting Worsted, which is 100% Virgin Wool. I was thinking of dyeing it first, but changed my mind. I figure it will make a nice, sturdy beginning and end to our wool blanket.

Just look for a worsted weight yarn that says 100% Wool on the label. You can find it at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, or your local specialty yarn store.
