Think I have the right yarn to substitute

I did a thorough search and just wanted to get confirmation that I have picked the right yarn to sub for this beautiful cardigan I want to knit. It's the Cardigan for Arwen in Dec 06 Interweave here: http://www.interweaveknits.com/preview/2006_winter.asp

It has the exact same weight and gauge as what the pattern calls for.

Here's what they made the original with:

Thank you for any help. I'm super nervous about spending $60-100 on yarn for a project I may bomb. :(

The question is are they the same gauge? If so then you're good to go. I haven't used either yarn myself so I can't help you there.

yep, they both suggest size 7 or 8 needles and knit 18 stitches over 4". hope it works. now i need to get the courage to make the purchase!
