Think I have the right yarn to substitute
I did a thorough search and just wanted to get confirmation that I have picked the right yarn to sub for this beautiful cardigan I want to knit. It's the Cardigan for Arwen in Dec 06 Interweave here:

Here's the yarn I have picked:
It has the exact same weight and gauge as what the pattern calls for.

Here's what they made the original with:
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (55% merino, 33% microfiber, 12% cashmere; 98 yd [90 m]/50 g): #202 light blue, 13 (14, 14, 15, 16, 17) balls. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever Inc.[/url]

Thank you for any help. I'm super nervous about spending $60-100 on yarn for a project I may bomb. :(

eta: duh, had a typo in the title

The question is are they the same gauge? If so then you're good to go. I haven't used either yarn myself so I can't help you there.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
