Hiya! I'm a total newbie! I have a question.
My name is Christy, I'm 23 yrs old from Tx, I have a question on Knitting, I just started a few days ago, and I looked all over the internet and I even have a book on Knitting, but I'm still lost.

How do you go to the next row in Knitting? Becuase without knowing how you can't really do very much. I looked at the video, but I need more help.

Thanks soo much for the help.

Welcome!

It might be helpful for you to watch the video of a Demo of a Small Project. It takes you from casting on to binding off, and everything in between.

Good luck!

Hi,

When you get to the end of your first row all your stitches should be on the right hand needle with the yarn hanging from the leftmost stitch - the last one you worked.

Turn your knitting around so the point of the needle is pointing right and put the needle with the stitches into your left hand. The yarn will now be hanging from the rightmost stitch of the needle in your left hand. Pick up the working yarn in your right hand (if you're knitting English style), along with the empty needle. Insert the empty needle into the first stitch on the left needle and knit as you normally would. When this first stitch is finished your working yarn will now be coming from the stitch on the right needle. Then just keep going until you get to the end of the row. Turn work and repeat!

Hope this helps, and Happy Knitting xxx

Mary

After you're done casting on, put the needle with the yarn going into the skein in your left hand, pick up the other needle in your right, and insert it into the first stitch on the left needle.

You can back up the videos and rewatch a part over and over, and pause it for a still shot.

thanks for the help. I forgive you for not noticing that I said that. Your tips helped me to understand better. Yeah I watched almost every single video. I can do the Cast on, in many differant ways, but getting to the next row was confusing. I think I might be able to get it now. Thanks for the help.
