Newbie needs pattern help!
I've worked on a few projects, but I've never seen this before. It's a hat pattern, and the pattern reads:

*K2tog, k6* around, 77 sts. Work 4 rnds even.

I get the first part, but what does Work 4 rnds even mean?

Thanks for the help!

Work another 4 rounds without the decreases. Keep in the pattern stitch you had before the dec round.

when a pattern tells you to work even, that means that you don't do any decreases or increases for the next number of rows.

in this case, you have decreased the number of stitches on your needle to 77 and you should just knit those stitches for the next four rounds. No K2tog
