Does Chenille Yarn "Grow" When Blocked?

This is my first big project Textured Cotton Chenille Sweatshirt and I'm making it with Yarn Bee's Dreamy Chenille Yarn. It feels wonderful!!!!!!!!!! I'm done with front and back and just starting on the sleeves now.

It seems a little small though, and I've heard some people say that when blocked, items get bigger. Does that include Dreamy Chenille????????????

I made a face cloth with Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille, and it stretched out really nicely when blocked. I don't know how that yarn compares with what you're using though.

Thanks! Has anyone made a sweater with this? Since it's my first sweater, I don't know what I'm doing - big surprise! And the sleeves just seem too tight! I can't imagine it GROWING enough to fit me!
