James Bond fanatics...help!
Ok, a group I'm in here at college is having a James Bond themed cocktail party this Saturday night. And, well, (okay, I know how horrible this is) I've only seen one James Bond movie (Casino Royale).

So, I need some kind of costume, but I'm not quite sure what. Being at college, my options for getting stuff are basically Walmart. I figure I'm going to go something resembling the Bond suit look because the only other option for girls is slutty. I have a pair of nice pants, but they're gray. Is that really horrible? Also, what kind of top?

And, any other random ideas I should do?

Thanks!!!

Quick google search...

From this site (I cut and pasted):

So, you've been invited to a James Bond theme party, or you're holding one yourself? And now you want to know how to dress as 007 himself. Here are a few ideas for the quintessential James Bond costume:

* Read the section on James Bond's appearance again. Anything appeal? You can wear a sharp suit with white shirt and black knitted silk tie. Simple. Sophisticated. What more do you want?

* The Tuxedo option - black or white dinner jacket/tux and a black bow tie. With this option you sould wear a white shirt, black patent leather slip-ons a black cummerbund. If you don't own your own dinner jacket or tuxedo, renting is easy - just don't be seen wearing it during daylight hours.

* Or how about Bond a frogman. A wetsuit will get too hot to wear all night, but you can take a facemask and snorkel and wear it with your tux.

Here's a site that shows costumes that are being auctioned off.

The best one I have seen was a colleague of mine .... she was wearing a black roll neck sweater, black trousers, a black balaclavar, a rucksack, hiking boots, etc ... then suddenly she whipped it all off and underneath she had a slinky dress on, Bond girl style ... it was

Well, I'm hardly a expert on James Bond, but I remembered his secretary was miss moneypenny. I googled. http://www.cedmagic.com/featured/007...oneypenny.html

A skirt and blouse a pair of glasses (hornrimmed) a pencil and a steno book. Simple to put together.
