Met Mason-Dixon Authors last evening

Last night Ann Shayne and Kay Gardiner were in Portland, OR at Abundant Yarn and Dye Works. So I was able to go, listen to them chat, look at few samples of knitted items from their book and have my book signed. Amazingly enough they look and sound just like they do on their blog. They both are very nice, but they also both looked a bit tired having just flown in that day. I had never been to this yarn shop and had a good time looking around, chatting with other knitters, and of course buying yarn!

It's always fun to meet the author of a book your reading ( or in our case knitting)
